EA Codes have recently replaced SIC Codes for the identification of Industry Sectors.
The EA Codes tend to be somewhat simpler than the old SIC Code system, which could be subdivided until a very specific industry could be identified.
This functionality has been partially lost with the introduction of EA Codes which are all listed below.
