These codes are
based upon the Standard Industry Classification Codes as published
by Her Majesty's Stationery Office in 1980.
They are the SIC
codes to which David HV Mills was registered by BSI during his employment
as Lead Assessor. He still holds registration with BSI but this
is now to BSI's own system which largely reflects these codes. Reference
should be made to the BSI Registrar for confirmation of the industry
sector to which he is currently registered.
These are the SIC
codes used by BSI in the registration of their assessing staff until
an internal BSI-devised system replaced these "official"
codes. Should the current SIC coding be required these can be obtained
from the Department of Trade & Industry or HMSO, and compared
